    Rep. Barbara Lee of California has crafted a resolution to help open up the marijuana industry to people of color.

    California Democratic Congresswoman Barbara Lee formally introducing the RESPECT Resolution, the first legislation ever introduced in Congress that deals with the racial disparity in the nation’s pot industry head-on.

    The resolution is an attempt to spur states and localities across the nation to bring minorities into the burgeoning marijuana economy.
